Salem, Massachusetts, is gearing up for its 23rd annual "Salem's So Sweet" Chocolate & Ice Sculpture Festival, happening February 7-9, 2025.

This cute event transforms downtown into a winter wonderland, littered with unique ice sculptures, chocolate treats, and special Valentine's Day shopping (so you can get ahead this year).

It's always hard to find activities that you or the family are willing to do in the cold months in New England, so this could be a perfect little trip to plan.

According to their Instagram, "Salem’s So Sweet Festival aims to bring neighbors out for fun in the cold dark days of February".

The ice sculptures are installed around the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall, and Lappin Park becomes "illuminated" from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Local businesses join the celebration by offering sweet treats, special deals, and late-night shopping opportunities.

"Salem's So Sweet" has become one of the most anticipated winter events on the North Shore, attracting both locals and visitors.

Just an FYI, the Salem, MA Facebook event page warns the complete list of sculpture locations will be posted closer to Feb 7th.
