Here Is Everything I Tried At NH’s 150th Deerfield Fair
There are few things better than fair food. Actually, I take that back... there may be NOTHING better than fair food. Give me fried dough covered in powdered sugar and I'm a happy girl.
This year, I finally made my way to the Deerfield Fair for the FIRST time and somehow, I managed to make my way through quite the food tour.
My Deerfield Fair feast included donuts, mini pancakes and even pickle lemonade! Yes, you heard that right... Because if you’re going to the fair, you might as well fully commit.
My biggest piece of advice for the next fair? Pace yourself! There is a LOT to eat, and if you plan on hitting the rides afterward, you may want to think twice before going all-in on the fried food LOL
This year was especially meaningful for the Deerfield Fair because it celebrated its 150th year, marking a century and a half of traditions, memories and community. The fair dates back to 1876 and is recognized as New England’s oldest family fair.
To celebrate, the fair invited people to share their favorite memories as part of a 150th Anniversary Time Capsule Project. A selection of those memories was going to be sealed away and buried for 50 years... a pretty incredible way to preserve the stories that make the fair so special.
And now, after my very first Deerfield Fair, I have a feeling I’m going to have a few memories of my own to add to the collection.

Here is a complete list of food I tried at this year's fair with NO REGRETS:
1. Jumbo sugared donut was pillowy, light & just the right amount of sweet! Perfect with a cup of coffee.

2. Fried Dough with powdered sugar is always delicious. But have you ever tried it with maple syrup drizzled on top? GAME CHANGER.

3. Pickle lemonade was everything I anticipated and more! Pickles have aways been my favorite food since I was a little girl when I used to drink the juice right out of the jar! I would totally order this again.

4. Who doesn't love cookies? These made-from-scratch jumbo cookies were to die for! S'mores for the win!

5. If there's anything that will get me to happy dance it's biscoff cookies... These pancake bites were drizzled with Biscoff syrup and garnished with crumbled biscoff pieces. UNREAL!

6. Waffle cones are cool... but have you ever tried a DONUT CONE? Add maple ice cream to the mix and you've got yourself a home run!

Can you tell I have a sweet tooth? LOL
